Gogglebox star Stephen Webb's real life off-screen may surprise some fans.
Stephen first rocketed to fame on the Gogglebox armchair with his ex Chris Butland-Steed.
However, the famous exes spiralled into a bitter feud after the couple broke up in their personal lives.
"Hurt" Chris left the reality series in 2018 as he admitted it was a blow to hear his ex Stephen didn't want to work with him every other week.
Of his exit, he told The Mirror: “Originally Stephen and I decided we were going to break away from Gogglebox together. We had a production company that was interested in taking us on. They wanted to get us out there as a brand.
“But Stephen decided to copy me in to an email to the studio saying he was going to terminate our joint venture. After he sent that email I didn’t speak to him for a little while because I was hurt by it.
“Then the studio called and said they would like to offer us the position back on Gogglebox. I spoke to Stephen and his attitude was ‘I’m not sure I can put up with you every other week filming’. Which was a bit of a blow.
“I turned around to him and said, ‘I get the impression that I think a lot more of you than you do of me’. His reply was, ‘Yeah, you’re probably right.’” Chris claimed Stephen, 46, would constantly put him down."
He said: “I brushed it off for the show. We had a responsibility to get that show out and have a laugh so that’s what I did.”
Initially Stephen welcomed his mum Pat on the sofa next to him on Gogglebox to replace his ex.
Now he has the charming company of his husband Daniel Lustig on the small screen.
The couple found happiness in their relationship with each other before taking their romance to the small screen.
They were married in a romantic ceremony at the Chateau de Lisse in Lot-et-Garonne, France in July 2018.
The lovebirds have made a wonderful life for themselves at their Brighton home.
In real life, the couple also own a salon which they have named after themselves Lustig and Webb.
Stephen has been working in the hairdressing world for more than 20 years.
Having trained with Toni and Guy for 15 years in Dubai and London, he used his experience to set up on his own.
It's almost been six years since he started up his hair salon business where he also works as a stylist.
Stephen previously gushed over his "amazing little business" and the "great clientele" he gets at the salon.
He told The Argus newspaper last year: “It’s been such an amazing little business and we’ve got a great clientele.
“We feel that some people may not think they’re going to earn much in a village, but that’s nonsense because you do – and they may think it’s only people of a certain age who come in here, but there’s a really buzzy evening life in Hurstpierpoint – the pubs and restaurants are normally always busy.
“It took me some convincing to open a salon there at first, rather than in Brighton but we decided to go with it and never looked back.”
