Gogglebox's Shirley and Dave share gorgeous snap of rarely seen kids on pub outing

Gogglebox stars Dave and Shirley Griffiths have shared a rare look inside their family life with a wholesome festive snap.

The much-loved, from Caerphilly, Wales, have spent their Christmas holidays surrounded by their nearest and dearest after a busy year on Gogglebox.

Dave and Shirley are usually incredibly tight-lipped when it comes to sharing details of her personal life, but the reality TV duo decided to share an insight into their wider family life as they shared a festive snap from a recent trip to the pub.

Although the proud parents rarely share photos of their grown-up children, they treated their adoring fans to a glimpse of their lookalike brood on Instagram this week.

Dave, 65, and Shirley, 66, beamed alongside their kids, Simon and Gemma, as well as Gemma's husband Alex and their grandson Elliot in the wholesome snap.

Alongside the snap, Shirley penned: "Merry Christmas to one and all, from the Griffiths family. Love Dave and Shirley."

And it wasn't long before adoring Gogglebox fans rushed to gush over the rare snap.

"Awh such a wonderful photograph. Your children are beautiful," one fan penned.

"This is so lovely. Thank you for sharing," another echoed.

"Dave and Shirley, you've made my Christmas with this lovely photograph. Love you guys," someone else commented.

Meanwhile, a fourth wrote: "Lovely family."

The Welsh couple, who have been married for 45 wonderful years, always have viewers in stitches every week with their hilarious insights and funny outbursts on Gogglebox.

While TV fans get to enter their living room once a week, away from the Channel 4 series, keen baker Dave is a cleaner in a factory and his wife Shirley works in retail.

As well as the human members of the family, the pair have a two-year-old French bulldog called Blue.

They frequently post adorable snaps of their little guy on social media and love dressing up their gorgeous pooch in amazing costumes - once turning him into a Star Wars character.

There was a new addition to the family last year when another Frenchie called Rupert joined the clan.
