Gogglebox star Shaun Malone has revealed he has welcomed his first child.
Shaun, who appears on the show with his mum Julie, dad Tom Sr, brother Tom Jr and the two family dogs, shared the exciting news on Twitter.
“Super happy to announce the birth of my son Louis Malone,” he wrote.
The Gogglebox favourite indicated his girlfriend gave birth via caesarean, writing: “Thanks for everyone’s interest, mother and baby are both well.”
He added: “I couldn’t be more proud of my girlfriend I wouldn’t be that brave having my belly cut open.”
The Malone family account tweeted their support for their son, writing: “So excited to welcome our new Grandson Louis !!!! Can't wait to meet him. Congratulations !!!”
Shaun, a football coach, recently revealed to the Coaching From the Couch podcast that his favourite thing about doing Gogglebox was that it allowed him to spend time with his family.
"It is a right good laugh, I have got to be honest. It is fun to do,” he said.
"As you grow up, you spend less time having family time, so it's nice as it makes us as a family have to do that, so that's the good thing about doing it.”
The Malone family have amassed a following outside of the show through Shaun’s brother Tom Jr’s TikTok account.
Tom Jr, who is a professional dancer, frequently ropes in the whole family for various hilarious challenges and dance routines.
