Gogglebox's Mica Ven admits she's 'struggling' after quitting Channel 4

Gogglebox’s Mica Ven has explained why she is “struggling” following her exit from the Channel 4 show.

Mica appeared on the popular programme alongside her partner Marcus Luther and quickly became fan favourites, thanks to their hilarious reactions on the week’s best telly.

However the couple decided to quit after five years on the show. Sharing the news with their followers she said it has been an "epic journey" and that she and Marcus had "so much fun" filming the programme.

She added: "But it's time to put down the remote and see what else God has in store for us". She thanks fans for watching, as well as the rest of the cast who she called their "G’box brothers & sisters 4life,” Liverpool Echo reports.

On Monday, Mica posted a hilarious video on Instagram, using a filter to change the shape of her eyes and mouth. She said: "Sorry, I won't even keep you honestly, it's just that I'm struggling at the minute.

"I'm scared to go (downstairs). I've just cleaned my kitchen and I can hear them, I heard the toaster, which means there's crumbs. I know there's crumbs.

"I heard the butter scraping on the toast, and I know they have not wiped down the sides. Just leaving it there for me. They never wipe down the sides after themselves, I can't take it."

Captioning the social media post, she said: "Dunno how @staceysolomon & @mrshinchhome clean up without cussing. Anyway, all advice welcomed".

Fans were clearly loving the video, with many sharing their own experiences. Kye said: "I feel seen! Just had this argument with my partner, it's every morning", while Mandy said: "It's one of those never ending jobs we have to do regardless of how many times we scream and shout."

Lily said: "Thank you, I don't feel alone now". Diane said: "Ahahah this is so relatable. Mums have super senses, you know what’s going on downstairs without even seeing it.”
