The latest episode of Gogglebox saw an unexpected collision of worlds with US reality hit Selling Sunset.
The families were watching the return of the glamorous Los Angeles real estate agents, with the new series kicking off with Christine's lavish baby shower.
As her party planner explained her ideas for "jungle-chic" theme, Lee and Jenny in Hull joked they had the same taste in cushions.
"She's got our cushions!" Jenny exclaimed. "They're ours!"
"I was going to say!" Lee replied.
"Oh we're up there!" Jenny joked.
As Christine asked if the "performers" coming to entertain guests were male strippers, she added: "Male strippers? It's a baby shower!"
After Christine asked her party planner about "Wow factor type stuff", the baby shower ended up including a real sloth in a nod to her "favourite animal in the whole entire world".
In Leeds, Izzi said to sister Ellie: "God Ellie we just played bingo at my baby shower."
Sophie in Blackpool said: "There's Christine with the sloth getting papped at her own baby shower. She does look fantastic though."
Joking about the differences between a baby shower in her home town and Christine's extravagant bash, she added: "I can't see Christine licking Nutella out of a nappy."
