Gogglebox's Jenny Newby unveils 'younger' new look as she travels to London for Queen tribute

Fans of Gogglebox star Jenny Newby flocked to the comments on her latest social media post as she flaunted her new look.

The 66-year-old has definitely racked up a huge following on Instagram since joining the Channel 4 show with her best friend Lee Riley in 2014. Earlier this year, many were worried when she didn't attend the BAFTA awards due to feeling poorly.

Lee confirmed that his pal was unfortunately in hospital, undergoing surgery and therefore wasn't able to attend. Gogglebox scooped the BAFTA for Reality & Constructed Factual – its fourth nomination and second win in this category, writes Leeds Live.

While Jenny sadly missed the ceremony, she has been recovering well and shared a sweet update with fans. The TV star, who is currently in London, said she travelled to the capital to say her farewells to Queen Elizabeth following her death on September 8.

Sharing a picture of her holding the BAFTA award, Jenny wrote: "Finally I get to hold the BAFTA while in London to show my respect to her majesty the Queen." Fans showered her with praise and said the award was "well-deserved". Many also commented on Jenny's new hairstyle.

One said: "Bless you, so well deserved, you keep us all entertained." Karenbytheway gushed: "You look amazing Jenny, well done."

Another wrote: "Aww you look fab Jenny, put it in your bag and bring it back to Hull." Colleenthompson13 commented: "Love your hair Jenny, you look 10 years younger."

And one also added: "You look lovely Jenny."
