Gogglebox's Jenny Newby and Lee Riley issue support to 'inspiring' Julie Malone

Gogglebox Jenny Newby and Lee Riley have sent a message of support to Julie Malone.

The entertainment personalities are fan favourites on the popular Channel 4 programme for their hilarious observations on the week's best TV. Jenny and Lee have once again invited viewers into their iconic Hull caravan for season 19, while Julie has welcomed us into her home where she is joined on the sofa by husband Tom Sr - and children Shaun and Vanessa.

The mum-of-four has impressed fans recently as she vowed to exercise more to reach a daily target of 10,000 steps. Julie has shared updates of her fitness journey and thanked followers for their kind messages while completing today's walk.

She said: "Back at it again. I didn't do a video yesterday because I thought you'd be fed up of seeing me. I'd like to thank everybody for supporting me and all your positive comments.

"For all of you who have decided to do 10,000 steps, good on you, we can do this. A fitter, better life for all of us, that's what it's all about."

Gogglebox co-stars Jenny and Lee took to the comments to praise Julie after the update. They said: "Well done Julie god knows how you do it in this weather I’ve tried hail stone sun. I give up"

Fans flooded the comments to praise Julie as an "inspiration".

Margaret said: "Your inspiring me Julie.. I went out for a country park walk today first time in a few months.. it were parky but loved it.. we’ll done you. X
