Gogglebox's Jenny and Lee to move out of caravan after nine weeks self isolating together

Gogglebox fan favourites Jenny and Lee are moving out of the caravan they've been sharing as the lockdown continues.

During last night's episode, it was revealed the stars would be leaving the famous caravan as filming on the latest season came to an end.

Inspired by iconic British sitcom The Royle Family, Gogglebox offers viewers a glimpse into the homes of a range of friends and families who give their hilarious opinions on what's been on the telly.

Friday night’s episode was the last in the current series of the Channel 4 show, which saw the public's favourite TV fans sharing their thoughts on horror films, naked footballers and more.

It was revealed popular pair Jenny and Lee would be leaving their lockdown home in Holderness in Hull after nine weeks isolating together in order to film the show, reports Hull Live.

Jenny said: "Just think Lee, what are you going to do when I go home?

"I'll miss you when I go home. Have you bought me a leaving present?"

He replied: "Yeah. A f****** suitcase."

Jenny replied: "Well I’ll miss you but you just don’t like admitting it."

"I f***** won’t," said Lee, before laughing that he "couldn't wait" to get rid of her out of the caravan.

The pair announced they would be self-isolating together when lockdown was implemented, to ensure they could continue filming the much-loved Channel Four show.

But now filming has come to an end, it seems so has their time in the iconic caravan, which caused confusion on social media as people were left wondering who actually owns it.

One person tweeted: "I always thought it was Jenny's caravan #Gogglebox."

Another commented: "Madness. I thought that was Jenny’s caravan after about 20 series of watching. Madness #Gogglebox."

It wasn't just the goodbyes that instilled emotions in viewers though, with Lee’s toast habits leaving many feeling queasy.

At one point during the show, while watching Andrew Marr interview Michael Gove, Lee could be seen dipping his buttered toast into a cup of tea and eating it.

Jenny said: "Do you have to do that? You're disgusting, you."

He turned to her, asking: "What?"

"Dipping that in the cup," she said.

To which Lee replied he “likes it”, as he took another dunk.

Fans of the show were left gutted as it was announced Friday’s would be the final one amid lockdown, with Jenny and Lee breaking the news via Twitter.

In a video, Lee said: “Isolation week nine and sadly it’s the last episode of series 15.

“We hope you enjoy the show this evening, it’s been a fab time and probably we will see you all in September. Have a great summer, keep well, and keep safe.”
