Heartbroken Gogglebox stars Jenny and Lee have called Mary Cook one of the show's most 'colourful characters' after her death at the age of 92.
News of Mary's death was confirmed in a statement by Channel 4 on Monday morning.
The post, which was shared on the Gogglebox Twitter account, read: It read: "We are extremely saddened to share that Gogglebox star Mary Cook passed away in hospital this weekend at the age of 92 with her family by her side.

"Beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and dear friend to many, Mary, who worked in the hospitality trade, had been married twice.
"She will be sorely missed by the entire Gogglebox family, cast and crew."
Mary joined Gogglebox alongside friend Marina in 2016 for the show's eighth series.
And fellow long-serving cast members Jenny and Lee shared their memories of her on their Instagram page, with a post that read: "Our heart felt sympathy to Mary’s family and marina and friends and all at Gogglebox such a colourful character and lovely lady you will be sorely missed by all who new and loved you.
" RIP Mary...Jenny and Lee."
Reacting underneath, one of their followers commented: "Oh no! Will miss seeing her on my screen. RIP Mary," and, also filled with sadness at Mary's passing, another wrote: "Aww Mary, an absolute diamond, so funny the best humour. So sad."
A third reacted: "So sad. She was a national treasure!! Bless her."
Gogglebox is due back on screen in September with Jenny and Lee and other pairings like sisters Ellie and Izzi Warner set to return to their sofas.
