Gogglebox's Jenny and Lee baffle viewers with 'mystery guest' - but this is who it is

Gogglebox' Jenny and Lee baffled viewers on Friday night when a 'mystery guest' joined them on the show.

The duo are fan favourites on the Channel 4 hit show in series four way back in 2014.

The pair have been best friends for more than 20 years and Lee and Jenny give out their views on the weeks telly from a caravan in Hull.

But viewers went into meltdown last night when another man 'appeared' on the programme.

The Goggleboxers were watching chef Nigella Lawson making a fried chicken sandwich.

But Lee surprised pal Jenny by telling her that the chicken she had recently cooked was not crispy.

"It was soggy. There was no crisp on that chicken I tell you," Lee told Jenny.

Jenny, 64, argued it wasn't as bad as Lee, 51, was making out, however, he then enlisted the help of someone else - named 'Steven' - to back him up.

What Gogglebox cast members do for a living

"Steven, was the chicken crispy on Sunday," he shouted as he looked away from the camera.

Then fans heard a voice off-camera say "no" to which Lee burst out laughing and Jenny hit back: "What do you mean no? It was."

And viewers all took to Twitter very quickly.

Jenny wasn't happy (Channel 4)

"WHO IS STEVEN AT JENNY AND LEE'S, WE MUST KNOW," demanded one.

Another said: "Hang on who's Steven? WTF mindblown"

"Who's Caravan Steven?! Cone on, reveal yourself!" added a third while another echoed: "Who's Steven and what is he doing in the caravan?"

A fifth then said: "Get Steven on camera....intrigued by this enigma!"

But it's not much of a mystery at all and Jenny and Lee took to Twitter themselves to clarify.

"Here's Steven #Gogglebox," they tweeted alongside a selfie of the trio.

Steven is Lee's partner of 26 years.

He flew over from his home in Cyprus six weeks ago after not seeing his husband for over a month.

Mystery solved, then.
