Gogglebox's Ellie Warner stuns fans with brand new look as she poses for a selfie on night out

Gogglebox's Ellie Warner has stunned fans by showing off her brand new pink hairdo as she enjoyed a glamourous night out.

The 32-year-old TV star from Leeds looked a world away from her sofa-critic persona as she revealed her long, pink hair. The hairdresser has endured a tough year after her boyfriend Nat Eddleston was left fighting for his life in hospital after being hit by a car in a horror accident in March.

Fortunately, he is recovering from his injuries and Ellie had a smile back on her face as she let her hair down during a night out, reports the Mirror. Her transformed locks were styled in loose waves and had been coloured ahead of Ellie's attendance at the British Hairdressing Awards in London. She pouted at the mirror as she snapped a picture, showing off her glam new look.

The TV favourite donned a long purple dress and was carrying a black Gucci bag. She captioned an Instagram post: “Obligatory toilet selfie from last night at the BHAs.

“Obviously had to go all out with pink hair extensions for the occasion. Thanks to my bestie @greatlengthsbyjames for hooking me up and @amiech12 @jack.rickatson and @franceseve06 for the joint effort colouring it." Fans rushed to compliment Ellie, who usually sports blonde locks or short light pink hair, telling her she looked “amazing”.

Ellie returned to her spot on Gogglebox earlier this year after missing a few episodes while Nat was hospitalised. His injuries are understood to have included a broken neck and back, as well as two collapsed lungs, and he needed life support after being hit by the car.

Following his ordeal, Ellie spearheaded a campaign to help those suffering from brain injuries and to support the charity Headway, whose members supported her during the difficult time.
