Tributes have been pouring in for Gogglebox star Mary Cook after she died in hospital aged 92.
Channel 4 and show producers Studio Lambert confirmed the news on behalf of Mary's family today.
Mary became an instant fan favourite when she joined the cast of of the popular programm e in 2016 with her friend Marina Wingrove.

The statement lauded the 'beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother'' for her 'brilliantly witty and often cheeky moments' - and her Gogglebox co-stars have also taken to social media to pay tribute.
The Malone's shared a heartfelt post on Instagram to send their condolences to Mary's friends and family.
The post read: "Sincere condolences to Mary's family and friends and of course Marina. People always used to ask how you were doing during Covid as the nation took you to their hearts. One of the nation's favourite pensioners. You are going to be missed so much. RIP The Malone's x"
Co-stars Dave and Shirley replied to the show with their tribute: "So sad such a lovely lady."
Jenny and Lee have also shared a touching message in honour of Mary.
They said: "Our heartfelt sympathy to Mary’s family and Marina and friends and all at Gogglebox. Such a colourful character and lovely lady you will be solely missed by all who knew and loved you. RIP Mary. Jenny and Lee."
Channel 4 released a statement earlier to confirm the news - and said that Mary's family 'have asked for privacy at this sad time.'
This received a response from Ellie Warner who replied with a series of crying and heart emojis.
