Gogglebox recaps Sharon's tragic EastEnders life in 20 seconds - and fans can't deal

EastEnders' characters have all been through some rather traumatic stuff over the years.

There's been all sorts of misfortune and death on the show.

However, not many characters have gone through quite as much as Sharon Mitchell on the show over the years.

She's been through so much that it can be difficult to remember it all.

That said, yesterday evenings episode of Gogglebox came in handy as far as that's concerned as Stephen Webb recapped everything that's happened to her in just 20 seconds.

It was a truly glorious moment of television and Stephen's husband, Daniel Lustig, couldn't believe what he was hearing.

Sharon's had a rough time over her years in Walford (BBC/Kieron McCarron/Jack Barnes)

"Her dad was killed twice," Stephen began, "killed twice, I mean, how cruel is that? The mum was an alcoholic. Dennis Watts, her brother that she married, died. Dennis Watts, her son, has just drowned."

Stephen was almost entirely correct with his recap of Sharon Mitchell's rather traumatic life.

However, one thing he got wrong was that Sharon's father was called 'Dirty' Den Watts.

However, her former lover and son were actually both called Dennis Rickman.

Sharon's mum, Angie Watts, eventually died due to her alcoholism.

Sharon has recently given birth to a new baby, and she decided to call it Kayden.

Her plotlines recently have been quite controversial (BBC / Kieron McCarron)

The name was suggested to her by Karen Taylor.

Gogglebox fans then took to Twitter to praise Stephen's almost perfect recap of Sharon's life on EastEnders.

Stephen Roberts on Twitter said: "A perfect summary of Sharon’s cursed life."

Maggie Malone wrote: "Funniest guy on TV."

RussellBln then added: "Stars of the show as usual."

Gogglebox airs on Fridays at 8pm on Channel 4.
