Gogglebox Pete and Sophie make change to set up leaving viewers feeling 'uneasy'

Gogglebox fans do not miss a thing when it comes to their weekly hour of entertainment from their favourite armchair critics.

Following the most recent episode on Friday night, some viewers were left rather confused by a change made by Pete and Sophie to their set up.

The brother and sister duo have been cast members of Channel 4 show since 2018, taking part in their show from their home in Blackpool.

And they regularly leave viewers in stitches with their constant banter as they critique the latest telly shows.

However, fans were slightly distracted by a change to their usual layout, the Echo reports.

Pete and Sophie are usually seen sinking a brew while watching everything from Strictly Come Dancing to BBC News.

And it's usually in a very extravagant mug which become a hit with viewers.

But whilst enjoying fish and chips on last night's show, fans spotted Pete and Sophie were missing their usual mugs, instead they had a glass of rose wine each.

"Wine glasses instead of mugs @Petesandiford?" asked one fan.

Another said: "Feeling really uneasy about Peter and Sophie drinking wine and not tea tonight."

"Pete and Sophie haven't got their mugs," a third added followed by a stunned face emoji.
