Gogglebox line up: From Dom and Steph to Sandi and Sandra, what happened to stars of the Channel 4 series

Gogglebox is celebrating a decade of being on our TV screens - and who can believe that watching people watching telly could have brought us as many laughs and tears as it has.

Over the years the Friday night Channel 4 staple has seen many families, friends and couples come and go.

From Steph and Dom to Sandi and Sandra, we check out what's happened to some of the iconic sofa celebs that have disappeared from the series that launched them into the limelight.

Steph and Dom

Steph and Dom Parker (Channel 4)

The posh hotel owners appeared on seven series of the show between 2013 and 2016 and fancied a TV career so left the series to appear on the likes of MasterChef, Celebrity Hunted and The Jump (Dom).

Sadly, their £5 million hotel The Salutation has gone bust. Dom said, "We are sorry to confirm that The Salutation Hotel Ltd, which has been managing The Salutation, has indeed become insolvent."

Sandi and Sandra

Sandi Bogle and Sandra Martin also appeared on the show between 2013 and 2016 before Sandi quit the show in 2016, to appear on Celebrity Big Brother alongside the likes of Sarah Harding and Amelia Lily in 2017. Since then she's released her own music album and appeared on Celebrity Fat Fighters.

Sandra did continue alongside her daughter when Sandi left Gogglebox, but quit just a year later. Since then Sandra has appeared on 100 Years Younger In 21 Days and even First Dates.

The Woerdenwebers

Wirral-based Woerdenwebers - daughter Evie and parents Ralph and Viv - were recognised as the 'goth family' and were accompanied by Evie's then-boyfriend 'silent Jay'. They left a few years back and Evie now works for education recruitment company, Milk, while mother Viv recently signed on for a Masters at Liverpool University.

The Moffats

Scarlett and her parents, Betty and Mark, first appeared in 2014 and became fan favourites pretty quickly.

Probably one of Gogglebox's most successful stars, Scarlett - who has just announced she's pregnant with her first child - went on to win I'm a Celebrity in 2016 and has appeared on shows such as Virtually Famous, Iain Stirling's CelebAbility, Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway and she also co-presented I'm a Celebrity: Extra Camp for two series.

The Tappers

London-based family The Tappers - dad Jonathan, mum Nikki, daughter Amy and son Josh - appeared on Gogglebox for 11 series between 2013 and 2018.

Josh left the show first after landing a governement apprenticeship and was shortly followed by his sister Amy who landed a spot on E4's Celebs Go Dating. Recently, Amy and her dad Jonathan have documented their amazing weight-loss.

Leon and June

June and Leon Bernicoff (Channel 4)

We couldn't talk about Gogglebox's 10-year anniversary without mentioning the king and queen of the comfy chairs. Leon and June Bernicoff were firm fan favourites and appeared on the show until Leon's death back in 2017. Tredegar-born June died in 2020. They were married for 57 years.

Gogglebox: 10 Year Anniversary Special is on Saturday, March 11 at 9 pm on Channel 4. For more showbiz and television stories, get our newsletter here.
