Gogglebox is undergoing a major shake-up tomorrow

For fans of a certain TV show, Friday night means only one thing.

Of course we can only be talking about Gogglebox.

Every week viewers tune in to see their favourite families - that are not their own - giving their hilarious, and sometimes emotional, views on a week's worth of telly.

But the Channel 4 hit, which has been back on screens since mid-September is set to undergo a major shake-up when it returns tomorrow night.

This is because Gogglebox a couple of famous faces will be popping up during Friday's episode (October 22) for a very special cause.

The popular show is having a makeover in support of Stand Up to Cancer.

The joint fundraising initiative between Channel 4 and Cancer Research UK launched in 2012 and to date has raised more than £62 million in the UK which has funded 52 clinical trials and projects involving 11,000 cancer patients across the country.

Comedians Mo Gilligan and Babatunde Aleshe will be back to pass judgement on the latest TV following their stint in the Celebrity Gogglebox series.

And for the first time, the stars of Line Of Duty are swapping the AC-12 offices for their sofa.

Adrian Dunbar, Vicky McClure and Martin Compston have took a break from filming the upcoming series of the BBC cop drama to take part in the charity special.

More names are also expected to be announced.

Celebrity Gogglebox for Stand Up to Cancer airs Friday at 9pm on Channel 4.
