Gogglebox Ireland viewers react with glee at return of fan favourites to show

Those who tuned into Gogglebox Ireland on Wednesday night were delighted to see the return of two fan favourites to the show.

Cavan twins Fergal and Neal Tully left the show earlier in 2021 for personal reasons.

But the duo were back on Wednesday's episode, recliners and pints at the ready.

One person said: "The boys are back!"

A second stated: "Is this a repeat OR ARE THE CAVAN BROTHERS BACK???"

"The boys are back in town!" added a third.

And Neal himself celebrated with a tweet of his own.

One of the things the boys and the rest of the Gogglebox crew reacted to was a new music video from Daniel O'Donnell.

The clip was labelled "the best thing to ever come out of Ireland" - for all the right reasons.

The legendary crooner released the clip for his cover of Jimmy Buffet's classic single Down at The Lah De Dah last week.

It features Daniel getting ready for bed in his pyjamas before drifting away into quite an interesting dream.

We can see the Donegal native doing a wide variety of activities, including surfing, dancing in a Hawaiian shirt and hula skirt, looking emotional in a car and becoming best pals with a pirate.

All anyone could talk about when it hit social media on Tuesday was the video.
