The nights are getting longer, the weather is starting to turn and the kids are back in school - which means only one thing.
The good telly is back!
That started on Wednesday evening with the return of Gogglebox Ireland to Virgin Media One.
We once again settled down to watch people on TV, watching other people on TV.
But there was one household which made a welcome return to our screens in the opening scene.
Tadhg Hession and his grandmother Ettie, who had missed out on the last season, were back!
And viewers were delighted
One person tweeted: "Great to see all the crew again. Everyone looking brill. #GoggleboxIRL Tadgh back & all grown up, his granny looking fab. David & John such fun.
"Jasus tadgh looks amazing! #Goggleboxirl " said another.
The general consensus was joy at the return of the show as a whole, but there was a special bit of love for Tadhg and his granny.
Another girl wanted to get close to the teen, saying: "Tadddhhhggggg I want to give him a hug"
While another added: "Tadhg looks so good! Nice to see him back with his granny after so long
And a third said: "#GoggleboxIRL oh my god! Love them all! John and Dave, but wow! Tadhg you look fab with your Granny ! So grown up x"
It really was the perfect tonic after the heartbreak of Ireland's defeat to Portugal, with one man saying "If, like me, you're a little deflated after that match, turn over to Gogglebox Ireland for a pick me up... Funny, fresh and Irish."
