With Love Island airing its dramatic finale on Monday evening, many people were left wondering 'wait, what do we watch now?'
Luckily for those people, the arrival of autumn means that there are some great things coming onto our screens in the very near future.
On Monday, we found out TG4's schedule for the next while, having already seen RTE and Virgin Media tease shows such as Kin, The Guards: Inside the K and many more.
But one of the staples on a wet and windy September night is Gogglebox Ireland.
This year will be no different, as Virgin Media revealed during the Love Island finale that the show will make a long-awaited return on Wednesday, September 1.
Fan favourites like the Grufferty's, Dale and Dawn, the Tully twins and more will be back on our screens very very soon.
Meanwhile, RTE's Ryan Tubridy said he’d love to star in Gogglebox Ireland with his daughters some day.
The host is gearing up for the return of a new Late Late Show season next week after the Friday night show took its usual summer break for the past two months.
But the Radio One star, who is a self-confessed Gogglebox mega fan said he’d also be up for testing out other shows in the future - admitting he’d love a go at being an armchair critic on the Channel 4 series if the opportunity ever arose for an Irish celebrity edition.
Asked if he has ever been approached, he said: “No.
“And now I’m thinking ‘what is wrong with me?’ Maybe they are embarrassed because my house will look terrible,” he joked.
