Gogglebox fans were given a mighty treat in Friday's (May 21) programme, as two much-loved faces returned for the series 17 finale.
The programme about watching telly has gathered even more viewers than ever through lockdown, and tonight's episode welcomed back Mary and Maria.
The pair had been absent from the show throughout the pandemic, but their fanbase missed the duo, a stalwart on the Channel 4 hit since series eight.
The Bristolian grannies are best mates, having met at the St Monica Trust retirement village in Bristol nine years ago.
Mary admitted in 2019 that she was 90 years old, while Marina is believed to be 89, and the pair still live in retirement village together.
And now they've both reportedly had the jab, it's back to the wine drinking and cheeky jokes.
The pair were on fine form as they greeted each other, although were very careful not to get too close.
Ollie Corbett was right in with appreciation, tweeting: "Mary & Marina finally making an appearance & not kissing because “we’re not lesbians” has made my week. I’ve missed them! #Gogglebox "
Daithi on Twitter spoke for everyone when he said: "Mary and Marina reuniting on the UK #Gogglebox is a true symbol of a healing, post COVID world! My heart’s exploded with happiness for them both... and us all!"
"Mary and Marina the golden girls..... I love them," added Wendy Owens, while Dawnie Claypole tweeted: "Who else cheered and got a bit choked when Mary and Marina came on."
