Gogglebox fans swoon over Jenny Newby's new look

Gogglebox fans were full of compliments for Jenny Newby during this week's instalment of the popular Channel 4 show.

For the first time since its launch in 2013, Gogglebox aired on Saturday instead of Friday this week. The schedule shakeup came as Channel 4 broadcast a special 40th anniversary edition of Friday Night Live in the usual Gogglebox spot.

As Gogglebox got underway on Saturday, many fans had clearly been missing the programme, with people taking to social media to welcome its return.

Some viewers also noticed Jenny had undergone a makeover.

She was joined, as ever, by best friend Lee Riley to give their views on the week's best telly. Her hair had been dyed a lilac colour, and cropped into a pixie cut. The TV star wore a black top with silver jewellery, and had a subtle but stunning makeup look.
