Gogglebox fans support Ellie Warner after boyfriend's 'devastating' accident

Fans of Gogglebox have flooded Ellie Warner with support after reports of her boyfriend being in a 'devastating' accident.

It was reported that Ellie's partner, Nat Eddleston, was hospitalised over the weekend after he was allegedly involved in a hit and run while walking back from his local pub in the early hours of Saturday morning. He is said to be living hour by hour in intensive care with a broken neck and collapsed lungs.

Fans of the much-loved show have sent their prayers to Ellie as she patiently waits for her boyfriend to recover. She recently posted an image of her partner to Instagram on Valentine's Day as they enjoyed a kebab, which followers have since swarmed with loving messages.

Becky tried to reassure the star, as she said: "Hey girly, you keep those thoughts positive. I broke my back and neck in 5 places and I’m up and about. Nat’s absolutely got this!! Sending big hugs your way."

Other users just sent their love and told Ellie to stay strong. Jan said: "Sending you lots of love and prayers and a speedy recovery stay strong beautiful." Meanwhile Theresa said: "Sending healing thoughts for both you Ellie & Nat. Stay positive lovely" followed by love heart emojis.

Today it was reported that Nat's heartbroken father has not stopped crying since he was rushed into hospital. A family friend told The Mirror : "We spoke to his dad yesterday and he was crying. He doesn't want to see his son as he can't face it."

The source added: "The family are lovely people, they're always helping others. Nat is a good gentleman and is always helping his dad. They're both really good guys, very hard working."

West Yorkshire Police confirmed the road in Halton, Leeds, was cordoned off on Saturday morning. They said: "The pedestrian remains in a critical but stable condition and inquiries are ongoing."
