Gogglebox fans spot hilarious moment between Line of Duty stars

Gogglebox was back on screens last night - and there was a bit of a twist.

Instead of just featuring the families we have grown to know and love, there were a few famous faces too.

The Channel 4 hit aired a celebrity Stand Up to Cancer special - the joint fundraising initiative between Channel 4 and Cancer Research UK.

So as well as seeing the likes of Jenny and Lee, Sophie and Pete and the Siddiquis, there were a few familiar, but unfamiliar Gogglebox additions.

Three of those were Line of Duty stars Adrian Dunbar, Vicky McClure and Martin Compston, aka, Superintendent Ted Hastings, Detective Inspector Kate Fleming and Detective Sergeant Steve Arnott for all the AC-12 fans out there.

And there was one moment, of many, between the trio that really had viewers in stitches.

And that was the reaction to 90s slasher movie Scream.

The Goggleboxers were shown the film’s opening clip of a young Drew Barrymore answering a creepy phone call, realising she’s being watched before being stabbed to death outside her home.

Grim, we know.

While most of the stars did literally what the film title suggests and screamed,  including Vicky and Martin, it was Adrian's reaction that caught people's attention as he didn't even flinch and looked at his co-stars in what can only be described as dissapointment.

"This episode of Celebrity Gogglebox is worth it entirely for Adrian Dunbar's face," tweeted one viewer.

Another wrote: "Adrian Dunbar’s totally nonplussed expression while watching Scream is everything."

"Adrian Dunbar watching Scream has got to be the TV moment of 2020," added a third.

Not only that, they made quite the impression as another said: "Gogglebox was awesome tonight, Can the Line of Duty cast be regulars though? They were hilarious and now I have the Line of Duty theme song playing in my head."
