Gogglebox fans saying the same thing as Stephen and Daniel share filming selfie ahead of return

Gogglebox fans are thrilled to see their favourite TV critics back filming for the new series.

The Channel 4 show is returning to screens this Friday after four months away - fresh from a win at the National Television Awards.

And the excited Goggleboxers have been teasing fans with sofa selfies.

This includes Stephen Webb and Daniel Lustig who will be back dishing out their latest views from their home in Brighton.

Hairdresser Daniel took to Instagram with a selfie alongside his husband - and fans have been left saying the same thing.

"And so it starts cameras and action with this one @stephengwebb1971 #gogglebox," he shared alongside the sweet snap.

Fellow Gogglebox star Izzi Warner was among the first to respond, commenting: "Looking good boys."

Sister Ellie also replied, writing: " Have fun with it."

But fans were blown away by their 'fresh' new looks.

"Looking trim and perky," one said.

Another commented: "You both look 10 years younger for this series!"

"How gorgeous you both look," a third added.

A fourth said: "Looking 'andsome boys."

"You two look younger every day," another replied.

Stephen and Dan will be back on Friday (September 17) alongside the likes of Pete and Sophie Sandiford, The Malones, and Dave and Shirley Griffths.

But this series is slightly bittersweet after the Gogglebox family lost some of its members.

Stephen has already spoke of the sadness on set after the recent deaths of three cast members.

The hairdresser said "it’s been a really sad time" after Pete McGarry, Mary Cook and Andy Michael passed away this year.

In an interview with OK! magazine, Stephen said: "I’s been a really sad time.

"Mary was a sweet, lovely lady, but with some brilliant innuendo and one-liners up her sleeve.

"We loved watching her and Marina together – their popularity shows that whatever age you are, you can still connect with younger people through humour."
