Recently Mary has been criticised for how she speaks to her buddy on the show which airs at 9pm on Fridays on Channel 4.
The pair who are currently living in Bristol are often featured talking about nature documentaries and Netflix show You, as well as new BBC dark comedy The Outlaws.
During one chat, Mary gave her beau a telling off and threatened to "section" him which sent fans in a tiz to leap to his defence on social media.
