Gogglebox fans were hysterical at Giles' comment after he bought some new face coverings.
People in England must wear face-covering where social distancing is not possible - for example on public transport, or in shops.

Mary had opted for a modern, patterned with willows. But Giles said he was suffering from chaffing when wearing his face covering.
He said: "I've already got chaffing Mary on this.
"Mine are a bit industrial Mary, I think I'd like to get some more fashionable ones. I'll find out what Sting wears Mary."
Viewers were left in stitches by his remarks, with one tweeting: "'Find out what (mask) Sting wears Mary'. Laughed out loud at that."
Cath wrote: "My love for Giles will never die."

A third tweeted: "Love Giles."
Gavin added: "Giles's mask", followed by cry-laughing emojis.
And Rosie said: "Oh gosh Giles and Mary lol...they do make me laugh!"
The couple joined Gogglebox for the fifth series in 2015.
Giles is known for his philosophising, which often sees Mary trying to bring him back to reality. The pair call each other 'nutty', but neither can remember why.
