Gogglebox fans were left startled after tonight's episode ended abruptly.
Friday's show was drawing to a close when people's screens were suddenly filled with 'colour bars' accompanied by a shrill beeping sound.
The weird ending caused a stir among fans, with some suggesting Channel 4 may have intentionally displayed the error.

The channel has been experiencing issues for much of this week after a fire at a TV broadcasting studio used by Channel 4 and Channel 5 on Sunday night.
Technical issues meant last night's episode of Married At First Sight was replaced by a repeat of Wednesday's instalment.
And Gogglebox fans started reporting issues soon after tonight's episode started, with some saying there were no subtitles available.
Channel 4 was forced to apologise again this evening as it admitted it is still struggling with technical issues.
Following the abrupt ending to tonight's episode of Gogglebox, fans took to social media to vent their frustration.
One said: "Fuel shortages, driver shortages, worker shortages and now the telly's giving up too."
A second fan said: "Wow! Full on colour bars after Gogglebox for 15 seconds."
"Well that was an abrupt ending to Gogglebox on Channel 4," said a third.
But some were convinced it was deliberate. "I reckon Channel 4 trolled everyone with that," said a viewer. "No mention all the way through about the outages and boom, ends #Gogglebox with that. Well played (I hope...)."
"Assume that test card ending was a mickey take (sic) on all the issues CH4 have had this week," said another.
Channel 4 tweeted tonight: "We are still experiencing technical difficulties, especially with accessible versions of our shows. We're very sorry and are doing all we can to fix the problem."
