Gogglebox fans ask the same thing after favourites Jenny and Lee 'go missing' from last night's episode

Gogglebox viewers have been left concerned after Jenny and Lee were missing from last night's episode.

Some worried fans took to social media to ask where the pair were during the latest episode of the Channel 4 series.

Jenny Newby and Lee Riley have appeared on the show from the sofa of Lee's caravan in Hull since 2014.

The pals met in a pub where Jenny was the landlady and Lee was a regular.

But now concerned fans are asking what has happened to the pair, Liverpool Echo reports.

Mark tweeted: "Where are Jenny & Lee this week."

Amy said: "Where are Jenny and Lee??"

Mandy tweeted: "Hold the phone. There’s no Jenny and @leegogglebox tonight on #Gogglebox?"

And Bella said: "Just me who’s thinking where on earth Jenny and Lee are??"

However, it is understood the Gogglebox favourites had just taken a break from filming this week and will be back on our screens shortly.

Lee's Instagram appears to show him on holiday with his partner Steve.

Siblings Simon and Jane are the latest additions to the Gogglebox cast (Channel 4)

Meanwhile, new cast members also made their debut appearance on Friday night's Gogglebox.

Brother and sister Simon and Jane were seen for the first time, watching along from their brown leather sofas with an impressive collection of books behind them.

One fan was instantly won over by the siblings, tweeting: "Simon and Jane are a brilliant addition to the show!!!"

Another said: "Absolutely loving Simon and Jane on Gogglebox already. These two are gonna be brilliant.”

The latest additions come after a number of departures from the show.

Paige Deville dropped out the series after a clash with her co-star mum, while others have had to leave the show due to the death of a loved one.

Linda McGarry left the series after her husband Pete died in July following a short illness.

Carolyne Michael and her two children Louis and Alex left the series after husband and father Andy died in August, while Marina Wingrove also left the show following the death of her friend Mary Cook in June.

Gogglebox airs on Friday nights at 9pm on Channel 4.
