Gogglebox couple Giles and Mary delight fans with rare picture of their two daughters

Gogglebox stars Giles Wood and Mary Killen have given fans a rare glimpse at their two daughters who have never appeared on the Channel 4 show.

The eccentric couple, who live in a fancy farmhouse in Wiltshire, have entertained Channel 4 viewers since 2015 with a slew of witty one-liners and wallpaper that matches their furniture.

But what Gogglebox fans may not know, is that it was actually one of Giles' daughters that were originally due to appear on the show with her dad before she backed out at the last minute.

Thankfully Giles managed to convince Mary to come on board after a lengthy phone call with producers.

Little is known about Mary and Giles' daughters however it has been revealed that they are both grown and no longer live at home with their parents.

In the cute throwback snap posted on Instagram on May 1, the doting parents can be seen cuddling up to their two girls in the black and white photo.

Giles and Mary have huge grins on their faces as they hold one child each on their hips, with Giles holding the eldest of their two girls.

Their 128,000 followers were quick to comment on the photo, with one writing: "What a fabulous pic! We love watching you both & you certainly make us laugh!!"

Another added: "What a beautiful photo," while a third person commented: "This is awesome! You haven’t aged!"

Other fans were taken aback with Giles' appearance and some were even swooning over him.

Speaking to The Guardian about banning swearing in their house, Mary explained: "There’s so much on telly, I don’t want it in my own cottage. Giles swears occasionally because he’s always having minor accidents. Our children turn on him and tell him off. Poor Giles.”
