Gogglebox cast react to Piers Morgan's dramatic GMB exit

When Piers Morgan walked off the GMB set after being criticised by his colleague Alex Beresford it was the Gogglebox stars' time to shine.

From the Malones to Mica and Marcus to Pete and Sophie, every person who sits on the Channel 4 programme's sofas every week has no shortage of opinions.

And they held nothing back for the presenter's unseemly exit.

"I didn't know you could let fireworks off at half six in the morning," Pete giggled to Sophie.

"Shut up, is he walking out," Marcus exclaimed as Mica cackled with undisguised hilarity.

"Go on, get gone - shut the door behind him," added Tom Malone Sr.

Viewers seemed to agree with him, with one tweeter saying: "The fact that #Gogglebox ended the episode with Piers Morgan embarrassing himself is absolutely chefs kiss [sic]."

Chloe on twitter added: "Piers Morgan just got trashed by the goggleboxers. I love it."
