Members of the original cast of Gogglebox have confirmed they will be appearing in tonight’s show.
The 17th series of Gogglebox starts tonight at 9pm on Channel 4, with the sofa celebrities expected to be sitting down to an episode of Channel 4’s It’s A Sin and Netflix’s Surviving Death.
Household names Lee and Jenny and the Plummer brothers have already taken to social media to announce their excitement for the new show.
But just hours before the new series airs, some members of the original cast have also announced they'll be making a comeback for series 17.
Caerphilly-based husband and wife duo Dave and Shirley have taken to Twitter this evening ahead of the new series.
They said: “Happy #Gogglebox friday hope everyone is looking forward to the first in the series #channel4 9pm love Dave and shirley X"
The Siddiquis have also confirmed they will be appearing in the new series.
Taking to Twitter, Sid Siddiqui posted: “Hi everyone we hope you have been well quick reminder, Siddiqui sofa is back 9pm tonight @Channel4 #Gogglebox please come and say (waving hand emoji)."
It comes as Tom Malone Jnr announced on Instagram yesterday that he won't be part of the new series, but the rest of his family will.
