Departing goalkeeper Costel Pantilimon has thanked Nottingham Forest fans for making him feel “part of their family” while he was at the club.
The 33-year-old’s time at the City Ground came to an end on Friday, as he signed a two-year deal with Turkish side Denizlispor.
Pantilimon initially joined the Reds on loan in 2018, before making his move permanent that summer.

He was first-choice between the posts in the 2018/19 season, but dropped out of the picture when Sabri Lamouchi took charge little more than a year ago.
The Romanian spent the second half of last term on loan at Cypriot outfit Omonia Nicosia, but returned with little prospect of breaking back into the Forest first-team.
His contract with the club had another year still to run, but was terminated early to allow him to head to Turkey.
And after completing his switch, Pantilimon posted a message for supporters on Instagram.
He wrote: “Firstly, I would like to thank the @officialnffc and @omonoiafootball fans who have made me feel part of their family over the last two years. I have been so proud to help Omonia win the league.
“And now a huge thank you to all the @denizlispor fans who have messaged to welcome me to their amazing club.
“This is a new chapter for me, and I am so happy to be involved. I hope to give back the trust and confidence you have shown in me with my performances on the pitch.”
