'Goal machine' - Jack Grealish, John Terry and Aston Villa squad respond to Conor Hourihane's Norwich City stunner

Conor Hourihane took his goal tally to three for Swansea City with his stunning strike against Norwich City.

The Republic of Ireland international drilled beyond Tim Krul from 25 yards out early on in the second half to add to Andre Ayew's first- half strike against the Canaries at the Liberty Stadium.

It means the 30-year-old is already Swansea's joint-third top scorer in the league this term, despite making just three Championship appearances for his new club.

On Saturday morning, Hourihane took to social media after Swansea closed the gap to league leaders Norwich to just two points.

"Waking up to that winning feeling @SwansOfficial," he wrote on his official Instagram account.

Hourihane's Swansea team-mates Jake Bidwell, Matt Grimes and Jamal Lowe were among those to respond to the post.

And a host of Aston Villa players, including Jack Grealish, Tyrone Mings and the club's assistant head coach John Terry were quick to show their appreciation for Hourihane's efforts.

Terry commented: "Goal machine."

Mings wrote: "Love it mate. Flying."

And Grealish simply responded with two love heart-eyes emoji.

Villa fans universally agreed that Hourihane would have a major impact in south Wales when he joined the Swans on loan in the January transfer window.

The Irishman has wasted no time in proving them right after impressing in each of his four displays for Swansea so far.

And he is hopeful of further adding to his goal tally over the course of the months ahead.

"I'm loving it. Delighted to get the opportunity to play. I love playing football. Your career is too short to be sitting around," he said.

"I have my own high standards. I'm still hungry for more and hopefully in the coming weeks that'll be the case."
