Goa: Class X, XII boards’ fees deadline extended

PANAJI: The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has extended the date for payment of the fees for the Class X and XII public examination. Students now have till November 10 to make the payment.

The Goa Board has altered its assessment format for Class X and XII students only for the academic year 2021-22, due to the pandemic. As per the altered format, the Board will carry out two assessments in a year, while schools will evaluate students twice during the academic year.

The marks scored by students during these four exams will be combined with the students’ internal assessment component to derive the final result. The Board has said that the format is to reduce the burden of answering a single public exam on students.

The Goa Board is planning to continue this revised format for the next academic year as well.
