PANAJI: Goa reported one Covid-19 mortality and 45 new infections on Thursday. With 1,607 samples tested, the case positivity rate stood at 2.8%.
One person was hospitalised and 44 opted for home isolation over the past 24 hours. The day also saw one discharge and 94 recoveries.
The active case count has fallen to 407.
The state’s recovery rate is at 98.2% with a cumulative total of 3,798 deaths and 2.4 lakh cases since the start of the pandemic.
North Goa’s weekly positivity rate at 4.8% is double that of South Goa’s at 2.4% for the week February 17 to 23.
