Works by Claude Monet, Paul Gaugin, Vincent van Gogh, Pierre August Renoir and other master artists are featured in the immersive "From Monet To Kandinsky" exhibition, which runs at River City Bangkok (RCB) till July 31.
The opening ceremony was hosted by Italthai Group president and CEO Yuthachai Charanachitta, RCB managing director Linda Cheng and Vision Multimedia Projects managing partner Oleg Marinin.
Permission from 20 museums around the world has brought together 1,500 masterpieces by the artists for a multimedia presentation, featuring 16 short films projected on the high wall of RCB Galleria.
The exhibition is an exploration of the art world during the late 19th and early 20th century, when culture and society were going through a tumultuous change, with inventions like gramophones, typewriters, electricity and telephones changing daily life.
