Go adventure tubing in the Cairngorms this summer with incredible 70 metres long slides

Looking for ways to entertain the kids with a fun day out this summer? How does one of the hottest new trends in mountain sports sound as a great day out?

The Cairngorms Mountian Resort is better known for its skiing but even off-season they have plenty of fun on offer with their tubing slides offering a great activity for people of all ages. Their Adventure Play and Tubing Park is the ideal place to while away the afternoon with your family surrounded by the spectacular scenery of Loch Morlich and the Spey Valley.

Located at the base of the ski area, it’s just a few steps away from their car park. You can enjoy an exhilarating, high-speed experience that sees you shooting down the slides on inflatable rings.

Speaking about the rides on their Website, the resort team said: "Regardless of ability our enthusiastic team will be on hand to offer encouragement and answer any questions so you can enjoy your experience in the safest way possible."

You can enjoy the hugely popular Spindrift (ages 4+), a 70 metres long slope with wild bends that even sees you being spun at the start if you fancy an even more thrilling ride.

The Cliffhanger (4+) sees kids dropping off either on their own in a medium tube or double-up with a friend or sibling in of their new maxi tubes, while the snowflake, a gentle slope designed specifically for their mini tubes, is ideal for beginners with children aged 2 and above able to enjoy.

And the fun doesn't stop there, the park also has an Adventure Play Winch Cat and Zip Line, which is ideal for kids to play on before and after their tube rides.

Prices start at £5 for kids and £10 for adults and tickets must be booked ahead of time here.

Have fun!
