Police have given an update after a man was stabbed during a fight.
Police were called to Monks Lane in Breightmet at about 6.20pm on Wednesday, January 13, to reports of a fight.
A man was stabbed and seriously hurt, though his condition was not said to be life-threatening.
Greater Manchester Police said three men and a woman were arrested on suspicion of section 18 assault in the wake of the attack in Bolton.
Today, the force announced that two men and a woman have been released on bail. Another man has been released without further action.
The victim was a 50-year-old man, officers have confirmed. He was taken to hospital where his condition was described as serious, but is now recovering at home.
A GMP spokesperson said: "Two men and a woman have been questioned and released on bail.
"A man has been released with no further action to be taken.
"The victim - a 50-year-old man - is continuing his recovery at home."
The force has also been appealing for anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
