GMB viewers want Judge Rinder as full time replacement for Piers Morgan

Impressed Good Morning Britain viewers reckon they have found the ideal candidate to be Piers Morgan's full time replacement - Judge Rinder.

Six weeks have now passed since outspoken presenter Piers quit GMB following a row with colleague Alex Beresford over Meghan Markle.

The pair clashed in a heated on air spat sparked by Piers' comments about Meghan in the wake of her and Prince Harry's interview with Oprah Winfrey.

After Piers stormed off set, his departure from the daytime show was confirmed in a brief statement from ITV later that day.

Ever since the Life Stories host's exit from GMB, there has been plenty of speculation about who will replace him.

Insiders claimed 'consummate professional' Ben Shephard was the top choice with producers, but he has been absent in recent weeks due to filming new episodes of Tipping Point.

Ben's absence has seen Adil Ray present alongside Susanna Reid the early part of the week so far this month and on Tuesday, the pair were joined by Robert 'Judge' Rinder.

Former Strictly contestant Judge Rinder is a close friend of Susanna, with the pair enjoying a number of wild holidays together and their chemistry has led to some GMB viewers talking him up as a potential host.

Rinder, most famous for having his own courtroom show on ITV, joined Susanna and Adil to discuss a number of topics including discuss the problems that private renters face when it comes to challenging their landlords about unsuitable living conditions.

And, impressed with what they saw on screen, one fan tweeted: "Could Judge Rinder be a new #GMB presenter?"

They then added: "Perhaps he could be persuaded to change jobs. It’d be great to have a presenter with so much compassion and intelligence."

Another viewer suggested Judge Rinder could be a "guest presenter," while another reacted: "oh yes please! It’s the first time Iv tuned in since #PiersMorgan left!"
