Good Morning Britain viewers were left 'cringing' at Adil Ray's 'butt cheek' comments.
Fans watching the show blasted the host during Wednesday's show.
Adil, 46, was joined by Ranvir Singth for the latest edition of the ITV programme.
Viewers struggled to stick with the show after Adil said of the guests has previously 'kept a penny between their butt cheeks to keep a certain pose'.
Adil said: "Andi is live for us this morning. Is he the man we are going to talk to who has a penny stuck between his butt cheeks?"
Ranvir replied: "Andi has no idea what we are talking about."
"You leave my butt cheeks out of this. I have been squatting, even if lockdown, so I have a good set of glutes," Andi replied.
"I can squat for days. Have you seen these glutes, Ranvir?" he added as the host joked back: "There is no way there is a penny in there."
"Not now," Adil teased, before asking: "Have you had your breakfast this morning?"
He then said: "There is a guest who has kept a penny in his butt cheeks to keep a certain stance and pose."
He repeatedly brought it up throughout, before finally interviewing Poirot star David Suchet who would perform the penny trick to get into character.
When they did eventually chat to the actor, an excited Adil decided to give it a try for himself, with the camera giving a full, zoomed-in shot of his derrière.
GMB viewers, however, were less than impressed.
One fumed: "Every morning I say to myself 'I’ll just try it once more, maybe it’ll be a news programme instead of fragments interspersed with weather/competitions'. Today hit a new low. 10 mins on coins between your butt cheeks and gravy on your breakfast. That’s it, I’m off. #GMB."
"These butt cheek references have forced me out at last, I don’t think I’ll be viewing #gmb again," another complained.
A third stunned viewer added: "Omg what has #GMB come to? Sticking pennies in your bum! Like wtf!!"
Another fairly requested: "Can you stop asking if your guests put a penny in [their] butt cheeks please #gmb."
Citizen Khan star Adil will be hosting the show again next Monday to Wednesday as the presenting team are rotated since Piers Morgan's exit.
