GMB viewers cringe after Ranvir Singh criticises Dr Hilary for 'unkind game'

Good Morning Britain host Ranvir Singh hit out at Dr Hilary this morning following an "unkind game".

Viewers were left cringing as the awkward moment spilled out in front of them live on air.

Even co-host Ben Shephard had his head in his hands after Dr Hilary's game backfired and left Ranvir stunned, the Mirror Online reports.

Ranvir wasn't too impressed with Dr Hilary's "unkind" game (ITV)

Everything turned awkward when  GMB's resident health expert Dr Hilary suggested they play a game.

He began by asking Ranvir: "What is your favourite animal?"

"A giraffe," she replied.

Dr Hilary asked: "What's your second favourite animal?"

Ranvir replied: "It will have to be a dog now I've got one."

He then asked her what her least favourite animal was, and she replied that it was a spider.

Dr Hilary then revealed her results - much to her dismay.

He said: "A giraffe is how you see yourself."

Ranvir responded: "Hardly, I'm 5'2!"

"Your second favourite is how people see you," Dr Hilary continued.

He then made a face and put his hand over his mouth as Ben laughed.

Ranvir said sarcastically: "This is going really well!"

"Isn't it?" Dr Hilary quipped.

Ben probed him on the third and the doctor added: "And the third is what you really are."

Dr Hilary insisted: "It's just a game!"

"Unkind," Ranvir responded, not looking impressed. "It's an unkind game."

GMB viewers took to social

One wrote: "Lol poor @ranvir01 " before giving their own answers to the game

Another simply responded with the laughing and awkward face emojis.

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV
