Good Morning Britain stars went straight for a champagne breakfast after finishing Friday's show.
The likes of Ben Shephard and Charlotte Hawkins left the ITV studios for London's exclusive Soho House to celebrate co-star Laura Tobin's birthday.
The team had already made a fuss of the weather presenter on the news programme ahead of her special day on Sunday.
She was presented with balloons and sweets by entertainment reporter Richard Arnold and was treated to two cakes by hosts Ben Shephard and Kate Garraway.
Randomly, one cake featured Chris Tarrant's face on with the presenters explaining that the former Who Wants to be a Millionaire host had also been given a cake with Laura's face on as he celebrates his 75th birthday on the same day.
But fans were stunned by Laura's age revelation as she'll be turning 40.
"How is Laura 40?" one tweeted.
Another said: "Laura is 40?! When they said special birthday I thought it was going to be 30! Looking amazing Laura. Happy birthday."
"How is Laura 40! What's the secret to looking so young? Enjoy your 40th birthday," a third added.
And Laura was quick to show her followers what her and her co-stars got up to after the show had ended.
The 39-year-old slipped into a sparkly mini dress with matching glittering heels.
Posing in the studio in front of her balloons, Laura said: "Lots of love for my (first) party dress of the birthday weekend.
"Who doesn’t love a bit of sparkle-I was very close to wearing it on @gmb thought it might have been too much (just a little)."
She then took to her Instagram story with plenty of pictures of her and her TV pals Ben, Charlotte, Richard and Dr Amir Khan sipping on some fancy bubbles to mark the occasion.
"A champagne breakfast with my @gmb family to start a weekend of celebrations for my 40th birthday this weekend," the mum-of-one wrote alongside a series of happy snaps.
On her Instagram stories alongside a picture of the group, Laure joked: "Champagne at 9am what could possibly go wrong??"
And even her latest posts were flooded with the same comment.
"Wow you do not look 40!! Happy Birthday," one said.
Another replied: "Happy birthday Laura, can't believe you're 40 though, you look fantastic!"
"40 never. Happy birthday," a third added.
