GMB's Susanna Reid worried as Piers Morgan displays symptoms of Covid-19 on show

Susanna Reid was left asking her co-host Piers Morgan if he was feeling unwell after he was 'displaying symptoms of coronavirus' on Good Mornin Britain.

During today's episode of the ITV show, Susanna interrupted Piers during a segment of the show to ask whether he was feeling okay or not.

It comes as the government issued a new ruling on social gatherings, with gatherings of more than six banned in England from September 14.

People who do not comply will be fined, in a bid to crackdown on the amount of rising cases of Covid-19 in the UK.

During the start of the show, Susanna asked Piers: "Can I just check for a moment? Because viewers will want a health check - they have seen you were coughing during the headlines..."

She took a sip drink while looking at Piers, waiting for his response.

"Yes, well, you can actually cough without it being serious. It is not the end of the world." He shot back.

"Are you OK?" Susanna questioned, before adding: "Because if you need a Covid test, you would probably be sent all over the country for it."

The pair then admitted the show was set to address the testing chaos in its next segment, as Piers admitted: "I just had a frog in my throat."
