The three were discussing the Tric Awards after GMB picked up the gong for best multi-channel news when Susanna discussed Piers' big win.
"Congratulations Piers Morgan, for best news presenter," she said. "There was an absolutely lovely moment yesterday where he said it was 'team work that made the dream work' and invited me up on stage but it's down to you, nobody has held politicians to account in a more rigorous way than you did Piers during the pandemic.
"Congratulations, very well deserved."

Following his win Piers said reuniting with Susanna was "emotional" while Susanna joked on stage: "He can start an argument in an empty room. I've never known anyone get so worked up over a sausage roll."
Kate Garraway was also a winner, picking up the TRIC special award after over two decades on television.
Speaking about her win on GMB, she said to he co-hosts: "All of you are sneaky liars."
Kate continued: "You knew but you didn't tell me and it was right at the end of the afternoon when I'd completely unravelled.

"My false eyelashes were coming off, I was quite good on the drink, but I'd just generally unravelled."
She added: "This is very lovely, thank you very much for a special recognition award, just for surviving so long, it felt like a retirement award."
Good Morning Britain continues week days at 6am on ITV.
