Susanna Reid shot down any potential complaints over Good Morning Britain 'breaking' social distancing rules before any viewers made a chance to make them on Thursday.
After Alastair Campbell's three day guest hosting stint came to an end in eventful style with him accidentally 'announcing the Queen's death,' Susanna was joined by familiar face Ben Shephard behind the GMB desk.
During the course of the show, the presenting duo were joined by rugby player Joe Marler to talk about his new mental health documentary and MP James Cleverly, who Ben rowed with over the Indian variant.
They were then joined in the studio by Russell Tovey and Robert Diament, who have just published a book talk Art after the success of their much listened to podcast of the same name, which has seen them interview the likes of Elton John and Grayson Perry.
Russekk described the podcast as a "platform to be geeks," and Susanna was impressed to learn that the pair had been brought together by one of their shared heroes, world renowned artist Tracey Emin.
But, before she delved further into the conversation, Susanna clarified: "You've become very good friends; which means that you're in a bubble, which means that if we get complaints about the fact you're sitting too close together it's allowed."
Russell responded: "Yep...bubble."
Rather than worry about social distancing, many GMB viewers were just delighted to see former Looking and Years & Years actor Russell and art director Robert on screen, with one tweeting: "Everything must come to a halt immediately! The lovely Russell Tovey is on GMB....."
Equally thrilled, another reacted: "Great to see you both on GMB with Susanna & Ben."
