Susanna Reid has shared a Twitter post labelling her a "woke snivelling pretentious cow" after she was moved to tears by the racist abuse of England footballers.
Like many other people, the Good Morning Britain host was absolutely appalled by the shocking messages sent to Jadon Sancho, Marcus Rashford and Bukayo Saka, after they all sadly missed their penalties in England's Euro 2020 final defeat to Italy on Sunday night.
Susanna and her GMB colleagues including Ranvir Singh cried as they discussed the abuse on Tuesday, with Susanna visibly moved as she read out a letter of support Manchester United star Rashford had received from a nine-year-old school boy called Dexter.

In the heartwarming message Dexter write: "Dear Marcus Rashford, I hope you won't be sad for too long because you are such a good person.
"Last year you inspired me to help people less fortunate, then last night you inspired me again, to always be brave.
"I'm proud of you, you will always be a hero."
After she finished reading it, a choked up Susanna said: “I hope Marcus feels everything that’s coming through from this letter and all the messages of support.”
Just like Dexter's letter, Susanna's reaction also made headlines but, one Twitter user slammed the TV anchor, sharing one article and writing: "Woke snivelling pretentious cow!!"
Susanna shared the tweet, seen by ChronicleLive, on her own account and, as the woman responsible answered back in the thread, one of Susanna's followers responded: "Only racist people have a problem with people getting upset about people being racist, just so we’re clear"
Another posted: "Childish, name calling tweets say everything about person sending them, nothing about person they're hatin' on! You don't know genuine decency when you see it, your loss,sad & shame on you in every way.
"In other news "woke" literally means "aware & awake", it's decency. Bye!"
