There was an awkward moment on Monday's Good Morning Britain when Susanna Reid completely forgot co-host Adil Ray's birthday.
As Ben Shephard continues to film the new series of Tipping Point, Adil was back at the helm of the ITV show with Susanna to kick off a new week.
Monday was also happened to be his birthday but, unfortunately for him, that was completely lost on Susanna and their colleague Charlotte Hawkins.
As messages came in from viewers, Susanna exclaimed: "What?! You kept that quiet!" before Charlotte joked "Where would you rather be, Adil?"
The new anchor and Lingo presenter replied: "Here in the middle of you two is the perfect birthday morning."
An embarrassed Susanna told now 47-year-old Adil: "Yup, sorry we didn't get you a cake.
"I had absolutely no idea. Thanks team!"
While his co-stars didn't realise it was his birthday, viewers at home were quick to pass on their best wishes, with one tweeting: "Happy birthday Adil! Hope you get the chance to celebrate."

Another posted: "Happy birthday Adil! Hope you get the chance to celebrate," and others took the opportunity to comment on Adil's hosting skills on GMB while wishing him happy birthday.
One fan told him: "happy birthday to you Adil. love your positive vibe on breakfast TV at the moment," while another posted: "Happy Birthday Adil. Not a replacement for Morgan a massive improvement!"
A third championed Adil's double act with Susanna, commenting: "Happy Birthday to you Adil. You and Susanna make Mon-Wed GMB truly brilliant for us viewers."
Adil has split opinion amongst viewers during his stint at main GMB presenter, with some heralding him as 'the future' of the show, while others have become 'annoyed' by his presenting style.
While Ben Shephard is thought to be producers' choice to be the full time replacement for Piers Morgan, it was reported at the end of last week that former This Morning host Richard Madeley would be given a 'trial' in June.
