GMB's Susanna Reid has 'figured out' what happens to Line of Duty's Kate Fleming

Susanna Reid has claimed that she knows what will happen to Kate Fleming in this Sunday's Line of Duty.

The latest episode of the hit BBC drama ended on an epic cliffhanger, and fans were left wondering whether or not Vicky McClure's character would be killed off.

On Monday's Good Morning Britain, Susanna and her co-host Adil Ray welcomed actor Adrian Dunbar on the show to speak about season six.

Susanna and Adil were clearly chuffed with how much attention the interview garnered and couldn't resist speaking about it on Tuesday morning.

"Did you see yesterday that interview we did with Adrian Dunbar made waves?" Susanna commented.

"You did very well to pick up on that spelling mistake," Adil replied, referring to Susanna's comment to Adrian about the incorrect spelling of the word "definitely".

"Apparently big clue," Susanna said, before adding: "I have to say I am no clearer about where that leaves us!

"He was talking about the difference between the hardcore and the core fans, and the hardcore fans had worked out what’s happened to Kate."

Susanna then teased: "I’m not gonna spoil it for people, but I did then research that during the day and I worked out how they know what happens to her, but I think actually it’s better to be kept in the dark."

Poking fun at her, Adil then asked: "Do you really know though?"

"No, I don’t think I do really know because Jed Mercurio the writer is so expert at teasing us and perhaps the thing that the hardcore fans think they know, they don’t actually know!" Susanna replied.

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV.
