Susanna Reid was close to tears as she paid tribute to the NHS doctors who died from coronavirus after contracting the big while working on the frontline.
Five NHS workers have tragically lost their lives after being struck down with deadly illness COVID-19 at work.
Good Morning Britain host Susanna, 49, became emotional on the breakfast show as she thanked all tragic heroes for their sacrifice.
Fighting back the tears, Susanna thanked retired medic Dr Alfa Sa'adu, 68, who died on Tuesday after returning to work to help out struggling NHS staff.
Others mentioned were father-of-seven Thomas Harvey, who died while fighting the pandemic after contracting the bug while treating a patient.

Adil El Tayar was the first NHS surgeon to die from the deadly bug, while consultant Amged El-Hawrani and GP Habib Zaidi have also died due to the crisis.
Journalist Susanna thanked and remembered the five men by sharing photographs of them on the show.
She said: "We thank you for your service," as she fought hard to keep the tears back.


Susanna returned to the show this week after spending two weeks in isolation.
She adhered to government guidelines after one of her sons developed coronavirus-like symptoms.
She was convinced to take two weeks off after prime minister Boris Johnson advised if anyone within a household has a cough or a fever, all those in the house must isolate.
Susanna still contributed to GMB by joining the show remotely from her living room.
