Good Morning Britain 's Susanna Reid and Ben Shephard interviewed Health Secretary Matt Hancock on Tuesday's show, with Susanna bullish interview style compared to Piers Morgan.
Piers, who quit the show earlier this month, has been known for holding government ministers to account on the show, and his interviewing has been described as "combative".
Susanna took a tough approach when speaking to the Health Secretary and loudly spoke over him in a stand off where both parties attempted to take the floor - with Susanna eventually winning.
Mr Hancock began: "We of course have learned the importance of having on shore supplies of PPE, and now 70% of our PPE, other than gloves, is manufactured here in the UK -"

Susanna interrupted: "Can I ask you about a couple of things - "
Mr Hancock continued: "Let me finish, that is an example -"
Susanna replied sarcastically: "Well done, it was way too late, can I ask you about, we haven't got very long with you and I want to ask you about care homes."

"Sorry, can you let me answer," Mr Hancock continued, but Susanna spoke over him loudly.
She said: "One of the things you've mentioned is the vaccination programme being so successful, are care home workers going to be forced by law to have vaccinations?"
The Minister replied: "Well the vaccination programme is an example of where he have learnt from when things have gone well.

"We are looking at whether, like doctors have to have the Hepatitis B vaccine, at whether it should be required."
Ben said: "We heard from a care home manager earlier, Mr Hancock, if you are looking at making it mandatory, he said recruitment in the care home industry is a nightmare already, and if you do make it compulsory, people are going to leave that industry."
The MP replied: "Well no decision has been taken, we have got to take into account all these things, but I am glad to say recruitment is up in social care, which is good news, but crucially we also have a duty of care over the people who are in care homes.
"Both sides need to be taken into account, we need to talk to people in the sector," he added.
Many viewers compared Susanna to Piers, favourably and unfavourably, as one tweeted: "I feel susanna is trying to be piers #gmb #goodmorningbritain ".
"I think she did well, without giving us a headache," remarked another.
"Did Susanna really just keep talking over Mr Handinc**k until he shut up?? LOL LOL #GMB," added a third.
But others complained Piers would have done the job better, with one writing: "Hancock is wriggling like a worm on a hook as always...even under weak and biased questioning from Ben and Susanna. This is when you need @piersmorgan #gmb ".
"Susanna is so f**king rude! I'm no fan of Matt Handcock but let him have his say #GMB," complained another.
"Get @piersmorgan back! Don’t like him, but Susanna Reid and Ben Shephard aren’t as good as holding him to account #GMB," added another.
One more declared: "Piers would have ripped him apart. #GMB ".
